Counselling

By appointment only

Those with a cancer diagnosis their families and friends can experience a range of emotions throughout their cancer journey. These emotions can take many forms such as fear, anger, shock, disbelief, sadness, guilt and isolation, and are often difficult to cope with on your own. Support is available in the Gary Kelly Centre where one-to-one counselling is provided by experienced counsellors. Counselling provides a safe place for you to discuss your feelings and experience of cancer. This in turn can help lessen fears and help you recognise that whilst cancer is now part of your life it is not the only part. It enables you to maintain your emotional perspective which can help keep the stresses of living with cancer from constantly intruding into your life.

Nurse counsellors now available to meet and work with client.
