Meditation

What is meditation?

The aim of meditation is to focus the mind in the present and away from irrelevant and unnecessary thoughts so that you can enter a state of stillness and deep relaxation.

Focused breathing or repetition of words or phrases are used to calm the mind. Every person regardless of age can practise meditation.

Benefits

Some find that meditation allows them to become more relaxed and tolerant of their cancer treatments.
